`New Delhi won't listen to political jokers in Tamil Nadu'

Colombo, Dec 7 (IANS) The Sri Lankan Army chief has said that the Congress-led Indian government would not listen to 'the political jokers' in Tamil Nadu and insist that Colombo go for a ceasefire with the Tamil Tiger rebels.
Army Chief Lt.Gen. Sarath Fonseka, in an interview with the state-run Sunday Observer, expressed confidence that the Indian government 'is not interested in a ceasefire in Sri Lanka' as it has listed the LTTE as a terrorist organization and handed the rebel chief a death sentence for his links with the assassination of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
'The Indian government has already expressed its view on the Sri Lankan issue and Prime Minister Singh has enough problems after the Mumbai terrorist attack. They are against the LTTE and nothing in favour of the LTTE would happen,' the Sunday Observer has quoted the army chief as saying.
General Fonseka, whose term of office has been extended by one more year, has said that India 'cannot just look the other side when it comes to Tamil sentiments' and was keen to ensure that innocent civilians were not harmed during military operation.

பொன்சேகா மிகச் சரியாக சொல்லியிருக்கிறார். இந்த விடயத்தில் நான் பொன்சேகாவை ஆதரிக்கிறேன். கலைஞர் மற்ற காங்கிரஸ் ஆதரவு தமிழக தலைவர்களும் அடித்த கூத்துகள் திரைப்பட காமெடிகளை விட மோசமாக இருந்தது. இவர் இங்கிருந்து டெல்லி போவதும், உடனே பிரணாப் கொழும்பு போவதும், பிறகு திரும்பி வந்து ஏதோ சொல்வதும், தனக்கு முழு திருப்தி ஏற்பட்டு விட்டது என்பது போல கருணாநிதி கூறுவதும் சகிக்க முடியவில்லை.
தற்பொழுது பொன்சேகா மன்னிப்பு கேட்க வேண்டும் என ராமதாஸ் அறிக்கை விட்டிருக்கிறார். பொன்சேகா மன்னிப்பு கேட்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை. அவர் சரியாகவே கூறியிருக்கிறார்.

சில நேரங்களில் எதிரியும்கூட நம்மிடமுள்ள ஓட்டையைக் காட்டி நகையாடுவது உண்டு. ‘தமிழ்நாட்டுத் தலைவர்கள் கோமாளிகள்’ என்ற சரத் பொன்சேக்காவின் கூற்று அது போன்றதேயாகும். ஈழத்தமிழர்மீது தமிழ்நாட்டுத் தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு உள்ள உள்ளார்ந்த தூய இனப்பாசத்தின் கொந்தளிப்பை அடக்கி மடைதிருப்ப தமிழ்நாட்டுத் தலைவர்கள் போடும் பொய்க்கால் ஆட்டங்கள் யாவும் தமிழ்நாட்டுத் தமிழ் மக்களுக்கு விளங்கின்றன.
கருணாநிதி ஒரு தெலுங்கு வடுகன். தமிழை நன்றாகக் கற்றுக்கொண்டு தமிழரின் தலைமீது குந்திக்கொண்டுள்ள இவரை ‘உலகத் தமிழினத்தின் தலைவன் நீர்தான்’ என்று அவருடைய பரிவாரங்கள் உசுப்பேற்றிவிட்டமையால், தலைகால் தெரியாமல் வாய்ச்சிலம்பம் ஆடி வரும் வந்தேறி அவர். அதனால், இந்தச் சுரண்டல் பேர்வழியால் ஈழத்தமிழரைக் காப்பாற்ற முடியவில்லையே என்று மன உலைச்சல் கொள்வதில் பயனில்லை. வெற்றிலைக்கார நாயக்கன் என்ற தெலுங்குச் சாதியைச் சேர்ந்த தங்கபாலுவுக்கோ, கன்னட-தெலுங்கனான ஈ. வி. கே. எசு. இளங்கோவனுக்கோ, தெலுங்கனான சுதர்சனத்திற்கோ, காட்டுநாயக்கன் என்னும் தெலுங்குச் சாதியைச் சேர்ந்த துரைமுருகனுக்கோ ஈழத்தமிழர் படும் இன்னல்களைப்பற்றிக் கவலை இல்லை எனப் புலம்புவதாலும் பயனில்லை. ஏனெனில், தமிழர்களிடம் போலி அரசியல் நடத்திவரும் வந்தேறிகள் அவர்கள்.
ஆனால், தமிழனாகப் பிறந்த மருத்துவர் இராமதாசு போன்றோரின் புரட்டல்கள்தானே நம்மை நிலைகுலைய வைக்கின்றன? ஈழத்தமிழர்களுக்காக அவர் என்றோ அறிக்கைகளை விட்டாராம்! ஆர்ப்பாட்டம் செய்துவிட்டாராம்! இதையே அவர் திரும்பத் திரும்பச் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்! ஆனால், இன்று அவருடைய நிலைப்பாடு என்ன? முப்பத்தைந்து ஆண்டுக்காலம் பொதுவுடைமை இயக்கதின்பால் இருந்தவன் நான். தேசிய இனங்களின் தனிநாட்டுரிமை (the Right of Nations to Self-Determination) என்னும் ஈடு இணையில்லாக் கோட்பாட்டை மறந்து தன் பிராமணச் சார்பு போக்கால் தமிழர் இனத்திற்கும் தமிழ் மொழிக்கும் தொடர்ந்து வஞ்சகம் செய்து வந்த இயக்கமே தமிழ்நாட்டின் பொதுவுடைமை இயக்கம். ‘ஒட்டுக்காக உலகப் புரட்சி’ என்னும் உருப்படா டிராட்சுக்கிய ஓலத்தில் மறுபிறப்பான ‘ஓரிந்தியப் புரட்சி’ என்ற ‘இந்துவிய’ மாயமானைக் காட்டித் தமிழர் இனம் ஒரு தனித் தேசிய இனம் என்னும் மெய்ம்மையையும் அதற்குத் தனிநாட்டுரிமை (the Right of Self Determination) உண்டு என்பதையும் முரட்டுத்தனமாக ஏற்க மறுத்த காரணத்தால், அந்த இயக்கத்தைவிட்டு வெளியே வந்தவன் நான். இந் நிலையில், வலங்கை பொதுவுடைமைக் கட்சி (CPI) ஈழத்தமிழரின்மீது சிங்களம் நடத்தும் இனவொழிப்புப் (Ethnic Cleansing) போரையும் இனப்படுகொலையையும் எதிர்த்துத் தோள்தட்டி எழுந்த நிகழ்வு ஒரு திரும்பு முனையானது.
அந்தப் பொதுவுடைமைக் கட்சி உசுப்பிவிட்டதால்தான், நீறுபூத்த நெருப்பாய்த் தமிழ்நாட்டுத் தமிழரிடம் புதைந்து கிடந்த ஈழத்தமிழர் மீதான இனப்பாசம் பீறிட்டெழுந்தது. இந்த எழுச்சியை ‘இராசீவின் சாவு’ என்ற பூச்சாண்டியைக் காட்டித் தில்லி வல்லரசு இனியும் அடக்கியொடுக்கிட முடியாது என்ற புதிய சூழலில்தான், வாக்குப்பொறுக்கி அரசியலில் காய் நகர்த்திக்கொண்டிருக்கும் தமிழ்நாட்டுத் தலைவர்கள் வேண்டாத புதிய தெருக்கூத்துக்களை அரங்கேற்ற வேண்டிய கட்டாயத்திற்கு ஆளாயினர். ஈழத்தமிழர் இனத்தின்மீது சிங்களம் நடாத்துகின்ற போர், ‘இந்தி’யனின் உசுப்பேற்றலுடனும் உந்தலுடனும் படைஉதவிகளுடனும் நடைபெற்று வருகின்ற போர் என்பது அந்தப் போலித் தலைவர்களுக்குத் தெரியாமலிருக்க காரணமில்லை.
இவர்களிடம் அறிவு நாணயமும் தமிழ்த் தேசிய ஓர்மையும் இருக்குமேயாயின், 1) தமிழீழ விடுதலைப்புலிகளின் மீதான தடையை நீக்கு!; 2) தமிழீழத் தமிழருக்குத் தனிநாட்டுரிமை (the Right of Self Determination) என்னும் பிறப்புரிமை உண்டு; 3) தமிழீழத்திற்கு ஒப்புதல் வழங்கு! என்ற உயிர்நாடியான கோரிக்கைகளை அல்லவா அவர்கள் வைத்திருப்பர்? அதை விடுத்து, ஈழத்தமிழர் மீதான இனவொழிப்புப் போரைப் பின்னாலிருந்து இயக்கி வருகின்ற இந்தி(ய) வல்லரசு ‘உலகநாடுகள் அவைமுன் போய், சிங்களன் ஈழத்தில் நடத்திவரும் போரை நிறுத்தச் சொல்ல வேண்டும்’ என்று பொய் வழக்காடி இல்லாத ஊருக்குப் போகாத வழியைக் காட்டும் கோமாளித்தனங்களை அவர்கள் செய்வானேன்? மாற்றான் இதைச் சொல்லிக்காட்டி நகையாடுவதற்கு இவர்களின் கயமைகள்தானே உண்மையான காரணம்?

the srilankan govt and it's military think they have the support of the indian govt.otherwise they would never dare to say this.indian govt is ignoring the death of it's own citizens-tamilnadu fishermen.that has emboldened srilanka's resolve.
can you imagine any other country in the world assisting a navy which is shooting it's own citizens.no wonder srilanka thinks it can ridicule tamil nadu leaders and make arrogant statements.

JOKERS

It is no doubt the first " A person who enjoys telling or playing jokes." But the point is they do not seem to be enjoying their jokes. Therefore, we may accept the second definition of joker- "A person who does(says) something thoughtless or annoying." , as applying to these Tamil Nadu Politicians dancing to the tune of the aged Karunanidhi and his daughter Kanimozi.
In fact Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India in having said , " India would do everything possible to find a political solution to the Sri Lankan Tamils' issue in view of their sufferings due to the ongoing fight between the armed forces and the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE)" , also comes under the category of persons, according to the dictionary definition of a Joker, -A person who does something thoughtless or annoying. Therefore, Manmohan Singh is also a Joker.
Malin Abeytunga in an article to Lankaweb on 9.12.2008 "India Stop interfering with Sri Lanka's Sovereignty" says, "….. After the Mumbai attack, Pranab speaking to the press said that if Pakistan does not cooperate with India to hound the terrorists that India will not hesitate even to declare war against Pakistan. Imagine that Pranab declares war against Pakistan on Mumbai attack and at the same time coming to Sri Lanka to persuade the GoSL for a cease fire with LTTE. Isn't it a damn mockery of Indian politics? Mind your politics. What is good for the goose is not good for the gander."
That statement of Pranab Mukerjhee quoted by Malin Abeytunga, also falls into the category of , a person who does (says) something thoughtless or annoying, in the definition of a joker. Therefore? Pranab Mukerjhee is also a Joker.

In a bizarre twist the Sri Lankan government of President Mahinda Rajapakse has fired the editor of state – controlled “Sunday Observer” newspaper instead of Army commander Sarath Fonseka for making remarks angering political leaders of Tamil Nadu in India in an interview given to the journal by the outspoken general.
The action came in the wake of strong protests by Indian envoy in Colombo Aloknath Prasad to President Mahinda Rajapakse, Defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapakse and foreign minister Rohitha Bogollagama.
