she goes on full swing. Hats off!
She should be highly commended for her determination. Even when she knows how she would lose some of her fans and how the mal-propaganda would trash her, she seems pushed by her conscience. She takes a risky bet on her own career in exposing the GoSL hypocrisy. I never held a high opinion on many western celebrities given that they exploited the situations for their benefits. She seems to be totally different by using her celebrity status for the plight of the 'trapped Tamil generation' by talking to Generations X & Y.

M.I.A. Goes to war
Sri Lankan sensation M.I.A. has been nominated for both a Grammy and an Oscar this year, but she would rather talk about being labeled a terrorist in her own country. She sat down with The Daily Beast’s Toure to talk about her hit single, “Paper Planes,” why Kanye West might induce her into labor at the Grammy Awards, and how she “isn’t trying to be like Bono.”
