ICRC fear for Sri Lanka civilians
The ICRC says there should be an escape route for civilians
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) says that intense fighting in northern Sri Lanka has caused a "massive displacement" of civilians.
It says thousands of people trapped inside rebel-held territory have had to flee several times in recent months.
An ICRC official, Paul Castella, told the BBC that fighting had stopped relief supplies being delivered to rebel-held areas for nearly a week.
He said that there were serious concerns about a lack of food.

Humanitarian situation worsens in Sri Lanka

Fighting between the Sri Lankan government and rebel Tamil Tiger forces has trapped 300,000 people. Of these, “tens of thousands of displaced civilians are concentrated in an area so small that there are serious concerns for their physical safety and living conditions, in particular in terms of hygiene,” according to the Red Cross. The Catholic relief agencies Caritas and Jesuit Refugee Services are among the only organizations able to provide humanitarian relief.

This joke of the year was dropped by P.K.Sivakumar. Good try. Strangley, he forgot his demigod Jayakanthan. Perhaps PKS himself wants to be the sixth one :-)
His friend Thukaram who is so intelligent to identify all these saviors of Tamil Nadu are Brahmins, previously declared in his thinnai.com Tamil Nadu was saved by Jayakanthan, Cho and Kannadasan. Now that Kannadasan has been long dead, Thukaram or his brother can fill Kannadasan's position.
